| This
sympathetic conversion of a former chapel, dating back to 1895, has
been lovingly restored, designed and furnished to a high specification.
It stands in an elevated position in its own private garden just up
the road from Trearddur Bay. It has open plan living accommodation
on the upper floor to take in the magnificent views of the rocky coastline
and open sea.
Entry is through
a stained glass door into a long hallway with breathtaking views
looking out to sea and Trearddur Bay. Off the hallway are three
beautiful en-suite bedrooms, one cosy double bedded room, another
large double bedded room plus the addition of a single bed and then
the master suite having a king size bed. The master suite has wonderful
sea views and the benefit of its own private sitting room overlooking
the rugged coast. Each bedroom has its own flat screen LCD wall
mounted TV, two with freeview.
A wonderful
hand crafted staircase made from the chapel pews takes you up to
the open plan vaulted and beamed living area. This is a huge living
space. Plenty of light flows through the property with floor height
windows and velux windows in the apex space. There is a large flat
screened TV with built in freeview and a separate DVD player. At
the front of the chapel there are two large walk- in windows which
look out to sea.
There are two leather sofas and two leather easy chairs in the living
area, plus a soft fabric double sofa/bed. Also In the lounge area
there is a lovely feature fireplace.
There is a beautiful
dining area which houses the original chapel organ.
Off the dining
area there is wonderful solid oak kitchen with granite worktops,
every cooks dream. A cream aga takes centre stage with a gas hob
and electric double ovens. There is a stainless steel American fridge/
freezer, microwave and built in dishwasher, washing machine and
separate tumble- dryer.
The kitchen is equipped to a very high standard. There are plenty
of plates, pots and pans, casserole dishes, wine glasses etc and
cutlery.
There is the
benefit of an upstairs cloakroom.
Under
floor heating to the ground floor and radiators to the upper floor.
The Chapel is
decorated and finished to a high standard.
Each bedroom has it's
own flat screen LCD wall mounted TV (2 with freeview). The lounge
has a 42" plasma screen TV and separate DVD Player. The wooden
shutters to the ground floor windows are made from the pitch pine
from the original chapel by a local craftsman.
The chapel site
is inbetween two beautiful private gardens. On one side there is
a large grassed area with a raised decking platform with panoramic
views over the sea to Trearddur Bay and even further across to Snowdonia
and the Lynn Peninsula. There is plenty of seating within this garden
each positioned to make the most of the spectacular views. The second
garden has a wonderful grassed area with steps taking you directly
onto the garden. Here there is private seating where you can enjoy
the sun trap or just escape listening to the sounds of the coast.
The gardens are fully
enclosed by handmade stone walls made by a local craftsman and topped
with handmade wrought iron railings. There are two sets of very
impressive wrought iron gates.
There is a bench
positioned just near the original entrance which enables you to
take in the most amazing scenery imaginable!
